For Roman
blinds
Fitting inside the recess
• Measurements must be to the nearest centimetre
• Measure the width of the recess in three places, top,
middle and bottom and record the narrowest measurement for ordering
• Measure the drop in three places, left, middle and
right and record the shortest measurement for ordering
• Decide which side you would like the cords, left or
right
• The blind will be made 1 cm narrower than measurement
supplied to ensure it can be operated sucessfully
Fitting outside the recess
• Measurements must be to the nearest centimetre
• Measure the window recess and add 5 - 7 cm overlap
either side, making sure you have 5 - 7 cm clear either side
• Measure the drop of the window recess and add 10 cm
above and below, making sure you have 10 cm clear above and below
the window recess
• Decide which side you would like the cords, left or
right
For Roller blinds
Fitting inside the recess
• Measurements must be to the nearest millimetre
• Measure the width of the recess in three places, top,
middle and bottom and record the narrowest measurement for ordering
• Measure the drop in three places, left, middle and
right and record the shortest measurement for ordering.
• Decide which side you would like the controls, left
or right.
• Decide how you would like the blind rolled, normal or
reverse rolled
Fitting outside the recess
• Measurements must be to the nearest millimetre
• Measure the window recess and add 50 - 70 mm overlap
either side, making sure you have 50 - 70 mm clear either side.
• Measure the drop of the window recess and add 100 mm
above and below, making sure you have 100 mm clear above and
below the window recess
• Decide which side you would like the controls, left
or right
• Decide how you would like the blind rolled, normal or
reverse rolled
Fitting 'intu' roller blinds, in the recess of the glass
• Measurements must be to the nearest millimetre
• Measure actual width of glass
• Measure actual drop of glass
• Measure depth of window beading, minimum depth 11 mm
- maximum depth 27mm
• Side profile, small or large
• Bead Fit is for uPVC only
For Venetian blinds
Fitting inside the recess
• Measurements must be to the nearest millimetre
• Measure the width of the recess in three places, top,
middle and bottom and record the narrowest measurement for ordering
• Measure the drop in three places, left, middle and
right and record the shortest measurement for ordering
Fitting outside the recess
• Measurements must be to the nearest millimetre
• Measure the width of the window recess and add 50 -
70 mm overlap either side, making sure you have 50 - 70 mm clear
either side
• Measure the drop of the window recess and add 100 mm
above and below, making sure you have 100 mm clear above and
below your blind
• For full length blinds measure from the top of the
recess to the floor and add 100 mm above, making sure you have 100 mm
clear above the window recess

• Measurements must be to the nearest millimetre
• Measure actual width of glass
• Measure actual drop of glass
• Measure depth of window beading, minimum depth 11
mm

Fit is for uPVC only
For Panel blinds
Fitting inside the recess
• Measurements must be to the nearest millimetre
• Measure the width of the recess in three places, top,
middle and bottom and record the narrowest measurement for ordering
• Measure the drop in three places, left, middle and
right and record the shortest measurement for ordering
• Decide on number of panels required, widths can be
from 300 mm to 1100 mm
• Decide how you would like the panels to stack when
open, to the Left, Right or Split Draw
Fitting outside the recess
• Measurements must be to the nearest millimetre
• Measure the window recess and add 200 - 300 mm
overlap either side, making sure you have 200 - 300 mm clear either side
• Measure the drop from the top of the window recess to
the floor and add 100 mm above, making sure you have 100 mm clear
above the window recess
• Decide on number of panels required, widths can be
from 300 mm to 1100 mm
• Decide how you would like the panels to stack when
open, to the Left, Right or Split Draw
For Pleated Blinds

• Measure the drop from the top of the window recess to
the floor and add 100 mm above, making sure you have 100 mm clear
